Released on March 18,2017, the Drake “playlist” More Life broadens the worldwide connections Drake really has with other artists in different cultures. The 6 god had many features on the playlist, with many artists and rappers from the UK such as Giggs, Skepta, and Sampha. With Giggs appearing on two tracks “No Long Talk” and “KMT”. “KMT” is also the song that Drake is accused of stealing the exact same flow from another song called “Look At Me” by XXXtentacion. Skepta takes over “Skeptas Interlude”, then Sampha does the same on “4422”, where he pleases the listeners ears by singing circles around Drake. Another artist, Black Coffee, hailing from South Africa is featured on “Get It Together”.

Popular songs from the playlist include “Passionfruit” and “Portland”. “Portland” includes vocals from Quavo, and Travis Scott, with Travis Scott having the best verse on the album here. More Life was touched by many producers, such as familiar faces Boi-1da, and Noah “40” Shebib, along with new comers like Frank Dukes, Murda Beatz, T-Minus, and Nineteen85. The best song on the playlist was co-produced with Kanye West and featured him as well. Titled “Glow” it also featured Noah “40” Shebib, and Noah Goldstein producing. It has a harmonic pairing of the vocals of Mr. West and Drake, with one another singing back up vocals for each others verses. It also featured more Kanye than Drake, which allowed Drake to focus on what made him famous in the first place which is his singing and not his rapping.

Overall, More Life the playlist solved a lot of Drake fan issues with Views. It allowed Drake to take a backseat in many songs here and let other voices shine in front. Many of the features on the playlist were better than Drake’s verse on said song. Drake did better this time around though, by using his voice in song more than rapping.
