Cydney enjoys writing articles that give the reader a sense of intrigue. She often writes articles deep-diving into student life issues or shedding light on incredible student experiences. Cydney also has a passion for photography and design, using visual elements to make her articles all the more compelling.
Outside of the journalistic world, Cydney enjoys volunteering at her local parks, elementary schools, homeless shelters, and courthouses. She also is an artistic photographer working on a portfolio exploring the themes of surreal, dream state.
Cydney has earned a range of Florida Scholastic Press Awards such as Excellence and Honorable Mention in Profile Writing and an Honorable Mention in Review Writing. She received the honor of Distinguished Club Editor from the Florida District of Key Club International.
